Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatuh! (May The Almighty’s peace, mercy and blessings be with you)
Thank you for visiting NURturant Consulting, an endeavor that we formally started in November 2023 to continue our passion for caring for communities through our expertise in organizational development, mental health and psychosocial support, and language consulting, rooted in servant leadership, compassion and collective action.
Our Logo
While nurturant is an adjective that means providing physical and emotional care and nourishment, the eight-petal flower in our logo represents our commitment to promoting holistic well-being by helping individuals and groups consider all eight dimensions of wellness that are essentially interconnected: physical, emotional, mental, social, occupational, environmental, financial, and spiritual.
Moreover, an emphasis on NUR, the arabic word for “light”, in NURturant is a constant reminder that to care with compassion for ourselves and our communities requires constantly seeking beneficial knowledge from An-Nur, The Light, and consequently applying it with excellence. After all, it is only through The Almighty that we can all be a blessing to one another.
